Position Title: Canvassing Manager
Department: Marketing & Advertising

Position Profile
The Canvassing Manager is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, training, and directing the canvas team to its entirety. You will be responsible for each canvasser’s responsibilities, roles, expectations, and scorecards. You are expected to uphold and train on the core values Schoenherr Roofing represents.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of marketing/canvassing experience with at least 3–5 years in a management role.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Valid driver’s license; clean driving record preferred.
- Dedicated to continuous personal and professional improvement.
- Proven record of achieving marketing targets and driving business growth.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., JobNimbus) and other management tools.
- Strong analytical skills to create reports and interpret trends and market data.

Duties and Responsibilities
Provide the “Schoenherr Roofing 5-Star Customer Experience”
Deliver an exceptional experience that builds trust and exceeds expectations from the first to last point of contact, while consistently demonstrating company values.
Canvassing Strategy & Planning
- Design and implement canvassing strategies aligned with company goals.
- Set team KPIs and targets.
- Analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Stay current on new tactics in door-to-door sales.
Team Leadership and Development
- Recruit, train, and manage an initial 10-person team and 1 team leader, with plans to grow to 30.
- Help canvassing specialists align personal, professional, and financial goals with company vision.
- Conduct regular evaluations, coaching, and daily meetings.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and high performance.
Business Development
Identify opportunities and implement strategies to expand presence in residential, commercial, and industrial roofing markets.
Financial Management
Work with the finance team to forecast accurately. Monitor performance and submit weekly reports to leadership.
Sales Support
Collaborate with sales to create canvassing campaigns that support business objectives. Coordinate with other departments for seamless execution and customer satisfaction.

Oversee effective use of JobNimbus and canvassing apps, manage email templates, and resolve system issues.

Location and Schedule
- Location: In-person at main office.
- Hours: Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Company phone remains on after hours.
- Saturday: Manage and support team from home as needed.
- Sunday: Off
